Not for the faint of heart, but you could enter a contest that would let you sleep with sharks in Paris.
Airbnb is offering one of the coolest jaw-dropping accommodations ever a chance to spend a night in an underwater bedroom surrounded by 35 deadly sharks. Organizers of a competition sponsored by Airbnb will offer three lucky winners, each with one guest, the chance to spend a night in the Aquarium de Paris (which is located in front of the Eiffel Tower and is the oldest aquarium in the world) on 11th 12th and 13th of April in what will be the world’s first underwater bedroom.
“We’re excited to be the first aquarium anywhere in the world to offer such an ‘immersive’ experience to visitors,” said Alexis L. Powilewicz, CEO of Aquarium de Paris – without the slightest pun intended.
Guests will spend a night in a circular 33 feet/10meters glassed in room deep inside three million liters of water with a 360-degree view of the sharks.
Winners will be hosted for this unconventional stay by Fred Buyle, a world record-breaking free diver, shark conservationist and underwater photographer. The Belgian will welcome guests by dancing with the sharks before taking them on a tour of the aquarium.
