Starck designed phone is a thing of beauty.
We all know that the late co-founder of Apple, Steve Jobs, was hard-to-impress. That is to say that one would have to have something really special to catch Jobs’ attention. And so one would have to think Philippe Starck’s is one of those people given that Steve Jobs once tasked him with designing his super yacht, Venus.
While still digesting that, it’s worth noting that Starck has now designed what could steal the limelight from Apple’s latest iPhone 7 and the new Google Pixel.
Starck has taken a run at designing a new concept smartphone for Chinese electronics conglomerate, Xiaomi and its called the Mi Mix. The world-famous French designer used his technology and design prowess to create a beautiful and futuristic smartphone that may have other smartphone manufacturers taking note.
According to reliable reports, Mi Mix, which was unveiled a few days ago in Beijing, is purposely designer as a user-friendly device that pushes every periphery to provide an unmatched experience to the user in terms of innovation, design, easy grip, optimum listening, elegance and much more.
With no edges or corners, Mi Mix is completely smooth and polished. But even more beautiful is its astounding full-screen, measuring 6.4 inches, that’s extended to the maximum and void of any surface constraints. To put it into perspective, Mi Mix’s screen covers about 91.3% of the handset’s available space, while the latest iPhone 7 covers about 67.7% of the available space.
As Starck simply puts it; “This is the smartphone of the future.”
It’s cool, powerful, eccentric, and will possibly rule the change the smartphone game for years to come.
