Russian Photo App, Prisma is All You Need

An amazing smartphone app known as Prisma has been taking Russia and around 10 post-Soviet countries by storm and has attained number one spot in app stores in record time.

In essence, Prisma is a futuristic app that combines the concept of artificial intelligence and neural network technology which turn users’ photos into masterpieces of art that are somehow comparable to paintings of famous artists such as Vincent Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Roy Lichtenstein and others.

In other words, the app is software that has a collection of image filters that make your photos look like incredible paintings. Having been released on June 11th, Prisma is the creation from a group of ingenious Russian developers under the umbrella of Mail.Ru, which is owned by billionaire Alisher Usmanov.  

In a statement released by the company, Mail.Ru chairman Dmitry Grishin said:

Without doubt, Prisma is a remarkably cool app that can redraw your photos using inventive digital art that wasn’t possible until very recently.
