This Emoji Keyboard is Something Else
Forget your regular keyboard we now an emoji keyboard ready to take over your computer. Having taken over the phone and web world, it looks like Emojis are now aiming for the real world. This is after Disk Cactus, an art and technology studio based in Oakland, California developed a keyboard that displays the small iconic pictures on every key of the board.
Now that words are becoming less and less used, especially in the world of Short Text Messages (SMS), this creative studio realized that everything would be much better if everything was written in emojis. So they’ve created cool software that turns your Mac’s keyboard into an emoji keyboard.
Once you’ve installed the software into your MacBook, you don’t worry about your regular keyboard. You can switch from the emoji keyboard back to the regular keyboard by simply clicking on the Caps Lock button. The emoji keyboard makes it easier for users to add the emoji images to Facebook and Twitter posts, as well as on official documents.
The developer has set up a Kickstarter campaign to help raise funds for the production of the keyboard. And for a low price of $15, it’s likely that it will become a major hit when it’s eventually unveiled in the market come next April.
