Chevy Goes Commando in a Big Way!

Mean-Looking Colorado ZH2 is Berserk

It’s unfortunate that most of the general public won’t get a chance to enjoy the impressive features of Chevrolet Colorado ZH2, a beastly hydrogen-powered vehicle; even though it looks like it was designed by someone who has been playing a lot of “Call of Duty” and has perfected the art in real life. And that’s ok, because it’s built for the US Army and only meant for the men and women of the military.

Through its partnership with the US Military’s Army Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC), General Motors built this aggressively styled pickup truck with notable advantages for military purposes.

The truck is based on a technology that offers something of a nice balance between the simplicity of an electric vehicle and silent-running capabilities. The truck draws its inspiration from civilian-spec Chevrolet Colorado, but with highly modified features. For instance, the ZH2 is longer and significantly stronger thanks to its strengthened suspensions and wider wheels.

While many of its intricate details are classified (in military terms), but we do know that it even creates water that can come in handy for field soldiers!
