Who knew that the animal kingdom could provide such a chill species.
Numbers never lie and nor do pictures. So when you see the number of pictures that show capybaras getting love from virtually all other animals wild and domesticated, its simply astounding. To humans, the capybara is the largest rodent in the world and is closely related to guinea pigs, chinchillas and rock cavies, however, to other animals, this South American rain forest native is a highly social creature that seems to have a great personality and is a delight to be around.
In fact, it is now a proven reality that capybaras are loved by every other animal on the planet. This is after the internet went into research mode to unearth amazing pictures of the giant rodent hugging, chilling and cuddling with ducks, turtles, cats, monkeys, squirrels, rats, dogs, rabbits, birds and even crocodiles!
Apart from knowing that this 145-pound rodent lives both in and out of the water, is an excellent swimmer and can remain underwater for up to five minutes, we’re now sure that capybaras are very good at making friends. These adorable pictures attest to how very chill they actually are.
