When Video Game Visuals Transform into Real Art

We know all about gaming fans losing touch even with the reality around them once they get playing their favorite gaming titles. Now, while those who aren’t into games may not understand this, a glance into Andy Cull’s work will tell you why there is a love of gaming.

While most of us associate screenshots with beautiful pictures that have the abundance of nature scenes or even people, screenshot artist Cull dives into video games, and the images he captures are indeed worth a place on any or all of your devices.

Cull’s time with his favorite video games hasn’t just given him gaming pleasure, but has also driven his artistic eye to capture images that are truly magical. Customizing some of the images he’s captured in games through his knowledge of the medium, Cull brings to us some of the most mesmerizing shots that he has gathered over the last two years with a new gallery of works.

Cull first captures the true essence of a video game still that impresses him. He then uses various tweaks such as ReShade, weather control, time stop and more to add visual magic to it.

Here’s one titled “A Conversation On The Esplanade” from Fallout 4.
