‘Halloween’ Horror Retold
Now that the Halloween fever is on the wane, it’s perhaps the right time to get down business and get back to watching some cool retro horror movies. While it may be hard to get your hands to newly-released movies (if any), the classics or better still, find time to get through them, CineFix has come to the rescue by releasing an absolutely thrilling digital dose of the movie “Halloween” in form of a glorious 8-bit arcade game.
Just to jog your memory, “Halloween” is a Hollywood horror blockbuster that first premiered in 1978 before being followed by nine more editions in the franchise. Directed by John Carpenter, the movie depicts Michael Myers lurking over the fictional town of Haddonfield, Illinois to carry out a series of killings for a second time on the night of Halloween.
In this 8-bit animated video game though, Myers challenges you to a slasher fight, which might have you become a hero if you can save your town from the “pure evil with the blackest eyes” that he is. This is the best way to get rid of that Halloween hangover without letting go too much.
