This Austrailian photog captures the raw power of mother nature.
Attempting to photograph a medium that’s in perpetual state of motion seems so stressful that many professional photographers never dare to venture into such situations. However, for Australian photographer Warren Keelan, nothing makes him more comfortable and inspired than capturing the ever changing forms of nature particularly in the ocean.
Born and brought up in Wollongong in New South Wales, Australia, Keelan has mastered the art of capturing incredibly perfect shots of behemoth crashing waves and other amazing natural occurances. Working in his wetsuit, Keelan goes to amazing heights either by working while completely submerged or precariously perched on the cusps of these colossal swells just to find the right angle and lighting to capture a mesmerizing ocean avalanche.
“For me, the challenge is all about capturing an image that sensationally tells a story and leaves an everlasting impression on the audience,” Keelan says.
Fact of the matter is, you’ll get lost in these unpredictably cool natures of immense water in motion.
