Audi R8 Spyder V10 is on Another Level
Whether it’s a Bugatti Veyron, a Ferrari 488 Spider, a Lamborghini Huracan Spyder or a Porsche 911 Turbo, buying a high-performance supercar is an expensive adventure that many people never think of let alone afford. But for those who can, there are a lot of stupendous choices out there in the market. So for the little-known Audi R8 Spyder V10, only in its second-generation, to come and beat out established names such as Lamborghini at their own game is no mean feat, but something sort of legendary.
The Audi R8 drop-top supercar, which will hit showrooms in November at a cost of around $388,500, is the real definition of breathtaking dynamism and spectacular design. It’s the actual combination of logic, spine-curling soundtrack, intensive handling and rocket-like performance.
To ensure that it’s a mighty thorn to its rivals, the R8 Spyder brings a thicker aluminum gauge and reinforcement that gives it a more honed look than the previous generation and maintain its torsional rigidity. In other words, it’s stiffer, lighter and of course faster with a hair-raising speed of 0-100km/h in a matter of 3.6 seconds.
Speaking of its engine, it’s probably only comparable to the golden periods of F1 in the 90s. With a V10 engine, you’ll might spend some pretty good time at the gas station, but you’re darn sure to attract a fair share of admiring audiences because it’s a seriously gorgeous, edgy and above all, top-notch performance vehicle. We can only dream for now!
