A Japanese Ramen Ad That Kicks Ass!

Instant ramen, that easy-to-prepare and yummy-to-eat delicacy that saves you from starving with minimal effort, was invented by Momofuku Ando more than half a century ago, and since then Chikin Ramen has turned out to be a hot favorite with foodies everywhere.

So it is understandable that Nissin Foods couldn’t let Chikin Ramen’s 58th anniversary go by without something momentous to celebrate the occasion, and the ad that they have come up with truly kicks ass.

Running for more than two and a half minutes, this ad begins with a drone flying away with a bowl of ramen that an innocent looking Japanese schoolgirl was about to eat. Well, that does not make the girl very happy and off she goes on a mission to get back her bowl of Chikin Ramen.

The ad has loads of crazy and over-the-top characters and sequences, and no matter how many times you watch it, there always something you probably didn’t see the last time.

Watch this absolutely crazy ad and prepare yourself to get blown away and maybe scratch your head a bit.
