When Trump and Hillary Meet Pop Culture

With only a few weeks before the United States goes to the poles to choose their next president, it’s that time when many voters have a challenge choosing between the candidates. Apparently, one artist known as Billy Butcher still seems to be at crossroads as he objectively shows in a series peculiarly titled as “Trump X Hillary: I Love to Hate You.

For this uproarious project, Billy takes political humor to the next level as he shows the two presidential candidates, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, mixed up with pop culture characters.

He depicts Trump as Patrick Star and Hillary as SpongeBob SquarePants of American politics! He again re-imagines them as Wayne Campbell and Garth Algar of the presidential race before showing us how they’d look as Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley.

Honestly, these pictures are half-amusing and half-disconcerting, especially if you take into account the events of the recently held presidential debates. Billy depicts them in certain images as the worst of enemies, which might be true but whether that’s the case or it’s just another political prank remains to be seen.

Unfortunately for Billy, he won’t be able to express his love or hate for these politicians come November 8 because he can’t vote. Yeah, that’s right, he’s a Brazilian and not eligible to vote in the U.S. But we’re sure glad he’s taken an interest in US politics!
