This artist takes pencil drawings to the literal extreme.

If captivating illustrated works, unique branding and original reclaimed wares brings a ton of excitement to you like it does to us, Christian Watson might be your go to guy. The talented Oregon artist is the brain behind the highly-regarded online branding shop, 1924, which has more than 455,000 (and counting) followers on Instagram alone.

Watson displays a simple idea of well-executed aesthetics that involves creating tiny, but highly-detailed drawings that, in all the likelihood, appear to come out of the very pencil that was used to draw them. His unique DIY art style skips the modern help of projectors and tracings and purely relies on pencil, ink and paper; thereby bringing out an extreme sense of individuality, authenticity and character of whatever design he’s creating.

A quick glance at some of his Instagram illustrations will attest to the fact that he puts pencil and ink straight to the canvas only to appear as if they are straight out of the pencil. All we can say is wow, this is completely incredible.
