Very cool re-imagining of Star Wars as monster creatures.

Imagine Star Wars spaceships as monsters! Not only they would be devastating, but would also appear as strange organic creatures. That’s exactly what Jake Parker has been up to by transforming Star Wars vehicles such as the Tie Fighter, X-Wing and the Millennium Falcon into geeky monsters.

The Utah-based American illustrator, who has worked in various animation studios including Fox, Warner and Blue Sky, re-imagined these famous vehicles and ships in a sort of terrifying non-human form that we can only describe as monsters. They’re reminiscent of those weird creatures that are often found in comic books and remind us of the Rat Fink style ogres.

Parker only chooses to color his imaginative Star Wars monster vehicles in black and white. This makes them even sloppier, particularly the X-Wing Fighter, which takes a look of something dragged from the remote world of swamps and forests in planet Dagobah. Because most of them look like Ewok science experiments gone wrong, we highly recommend that you take a look at his work on his Instagram account.
