Life-Size Ford Mustang Out of Lego Bricks
Driving a 1964 Ford Mustang, which is a classic muscle car, is a feat that would welcome you into a club of supercar owners. However, that might be a bit of a stretch given that it’s pricey and many of us may not be able to afford it.. So how about turning to a life-size Lego-built exact replica model?
There are a tonne of Lego creations out there, but this cool blue 1964 Ford Mustang built from Lego bricks will literally stop you in your Lego tracks. Built to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Mustang Club of America, the bright blue replica Mustang has been capturing attention of viewers at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, where it was unveiled, and dedicated to all Ford Mustang owners out there who are known to be ever-so-proud to show off what they call ‘The Power of The Stang’.
The Lego brick Mustang is said to have weighed at 1,712 pounds on the scales, with 960 pounds purely attributed to the Lego bricks. The remaining 752 pounds is said to be an aluminum chassis, without which the entire model would disintegrate into one heck of a pick up party!
That aside, this replical is extraordinary with superb attention to detail from down to the Mustang logo, windshield wipers, and wheels and oh… even working headlights and taillights! This definitely ranks as one the most awesome LEGO achievements ever.
