Well at least in his drawings. This Swiss based artist let’s his cartoon creation hang out with some of the coolest characters on the planet.
Swiss-based Loic Apreda (a.k.a “Apredart”) is a creative self-taught illustrator whose artistry will bring a smile to you. Perhaps after imagining how it would be to hang out with popular animated characters such as Homer Simpson, Mickey Mouse, BB-8, Pikachu, Remy and others, Apreda has created a cartoon mouse named Rikiki who interacts with these popular culture characters in his designs.
Using a cool technique in bringing objects from the real world into his drawings, Apreda draws Rikiki with virtually everyone including Yoda and Remy from Ratatouille, Homer from The Simpsons, Snoopy and Baymax from Big Hero 6, and plenty of others. Rikiki doesn’t just hang around with these celebrity cartoon creatures, but also indulges in “real life” situations such as catching butterflies, chomping down on pizza and falling in love with some other fuzzy mouse. He also listens to music in real-life headphones, pops popcorns and even steals peanuts.
For the adorable Rikiki drawings, we’ve sampled some from Apreda’s Instagram. You can still check out his Facebook page and Instagram for more adorable Rikiki drawings. The 27-year-old who describes himself as “dreaming to live from being a self-taught illustrator” is obviously talented. Scrolling down this page or on his social media pages will make you forget everything other than the little world of Rikiki. Either way, you can’t miss all the squishy sweetness that is involved in the drawings.
